There are a few things one needs to know before getting into the concession trailer business. While most think they can just buy up a bunch of trailers and sell them to make money this can sometimes be their worst failure.

Imagine for a second you’ve got $10,000 and you buy two trailers at $5000 each. You might think you’ve just began a great beginning to your business because you bought used concession trailers under $10,000, but the reality is you could’ve probably bought them much cheaper. Not to mention you will need a bunch of items before you can even begin this business if you want it to be legitimate.

Find out the going rate of a used concession trailer as to how much a regular one is at full price. Learn to negotiate as you will be able to use this skill throughout all your business life. Once you’ve got yourself a growing amount of trailers decide how many is enough.

Figure out how you are going to advertise and then do it. Where are you most likely to find customers? Will you sit your trailer in a lot, on your property or somewhere else? Think about placing an ad in the paper to get more buyers, etc. Make sure you’ve got all the proper papers signed and ready to go before you make that first deal.
