Wedding Invitations Planning

Posted by admin in Uncategorized

One of the most important steps in wedding planning is developing the guest list. Along with the guest list is the wedding invitations. You want to work carefully on the wedding invitation and make sure it pulls in the theme of the wedding as much as possible. You can try to tie in colors and themes by using different papers and etc.

Thus the wedding invitation card is a great way to express the theme of the event, inform guests in advance when the wedding will take place and also it makes the invited guests feel special and want to come.

Below you will find some useful tips in planning your wedding invitations. These are just guidelines and not everything but it is a good start to get you thinking about what should be included in the invitations.

1. Use a reply card.

The real basic and most common reason for giving out wedding invitations is to determine an approximate number of guests that will be attending. This can be useful for reserving the reception hall, planning the food and making thank your wedding favors also. It is helpful to know how many people are coming to the wedding and the more accurate the better. Therefore a reply card is a no brainer because it will ensure that even many of the lazy people out there will take the few seconds and return the reply card. Since it is already in a stamped enveloped and has an address they only need to fill out the most basic of information and then drop it in a mail box. So by having a reply card you are more likely to have an accurate count on of the guests.

2. Specify special details

Typically weddings are formal events and people know to dress accordingly. However, if you are having a themed wedding and would like guests to wear something different then let them know in the invitation. For example if you are getting married on the beach in Hawaii and the dress is casual beach wear then you will want to make sure you let your guests know in the invitation so they can plan accordingly.

3. Personalize.

Depending on the size of the event it can be a very nice touch to personalize the wedding invitation with the invitee’s name. This means that the invitations will have to be made either by hand or on the computer and it therefore probably only suitable for small weddings.

If you are planning on having a larger sized wedding with over 100 guests or so then it is much easier to pay to have the invitations professionally printed.

4. For a modern look add color

Traditionally wedding invitations are done in white, off white or light ivory or cream colors. However, there is nothing stating that your invitation has to be done this way. Many people are breaking away from these traditions and using more color in their invitations. This can work especially well to set a tone for the wedding and also pull in the wedding theme. For example if all the bridesmaids are wearing light purple dresses then having some light purple accents on the invitations can blend the color throughout the event.

5. Make sure it fits you.

You want to make sure that you wedding invitation is a reflection of you and your future husband. If you are more traditional and like the feeling of a traditional wedding then of course you will want to stick with a traditional invitation. However, if you are using a theme or are having a non traditional wedding you can pick this up in the wedding invitation also. For example, a couple that was really into rock climbing and was getting married in Yosemite on top of Half Dome sent out invitations that had an outdoor theme to them. So depending on your own personalities decide what works best for your own wedding and don’t feel stuck to tradition if you don’t care much about it.

In summary take some time and plan out your wedding invitation carefully. It is a wonderful event and you want the invitations to set the right tone and feel for the big day. By thinking about the colors, sizes, shapes and type of wedding invitation that you will be sending to your guests you can you can ensure that you have set the stage. Often a wedding invitation is the first official announcement of your intention to be married and you want it to be a joyous occasion that fits with your personalities.

Bridal Shower Parties

Posted by admin in Uncategorized

As young girls grow up, they don’t put as much thought into what their dream bridal shower would be like compared to the actual wedding. It is left up to the members of the bridal shower to create an enjoyable, elegant and fun event that lives up to the expectations of the bride.

Often just as much thought, time and effort is put into the planning of the bridal shower as the wedding itself. It’s a time when friends and family members can get together and celebrate the upcoming marriage. Blessings will be shared, advice will be offered and best of all, presents will be opened. The bridal shower typically consists of the women who are going to be attending the wedding. If the wedding is going to be held in a remote area like Hawaii, however, the bridal shower given at home is a great way for guests who are not going to attend the ceremony to celebrate with the bride.

Restaurants, halls or private houses are all great locations to hold the shower. Unlike a baby shower, a bridal shower is a group effort. The budget, favors and centerpieces are a few items that can be split up between the members of the bridal shower and the mothers of the bride and groom. For ideas on favors and decorations go to www.bridal-showers.net.

If the shower is going to be held at a restaurant or hall, there are a few things that need to be considered. Can the room accommodate the number of people that you are planning to invite? Are there going to be enough food choices to accommodate everybody’s taste? If you have never eaten at the restaurant you are planning to hold the shower at, make sure you sample the food before any decisions are made. The last thing a host wants to hear is that the party was great but the food was terrible.

Formula One motor-sport is mostly the apex of karting. It’s the professional configuration of the sport in its entirety. Many countries serve as active members in hosting the Formula 1 racing spectacle – Malaysia for example, is a hot spot for Formula 1 racing (Fernando Alonso, a Spanish-born F1 driver under Team Renault very recently won a F1 race there) and Italy plays an extensive responsibility in designing & producing first class, top-of-the-line F1 cars. Backyard Honeymoons

Posted by admin in Uncategorized

A small honeymoon budget does not mean you have to sacrifice romance. Nowhere is it written that you must travel to an exotic island and stay in a luxury resort. Maybe your idea of romance is snuggling in the same bedroll while camping out under the stars together.

Who knows? Only the two of you!

For super cheap honeymoons try looking in your own backyard. I don’t mean “literally” your backyard, but I would be willing to bet that not far from you, there is a perfect little honeymoon getaway.

* If you are from a small town, go to the city. Enjoy the hospitality of an upscale hotel for a couple of nights. Be pampered!

* If you are from the city, get away from it all to a secluded little bed and breakfast inn on a lake somewhere.

Having traveled Canada and the United States all my life, I can tell you that the entire coastline of our North American continent is wondrous. Whether you are in Alaska, Maine, British Columbia, California or Florida, the beaches are breathtaking. Each has it’s own special qualities that make it unique and beautiful.

You may be the type that enjoy polar bears, harp seals and whale watching in Alaska. Perhaps you are the outdoors type. Check out the lazy sea lions and try salmon fishing in British Columbia. While you are there, turn around and look at the mountains! They are amazing! Here in Georgia, you can watch and actually feed the dolphins that frolic in the ocean with you as you swim. If you are lucky, they will let you touch them.

A “beach” doesn’t necessarily have to be on the ocean. There are some fabulous lakes that offer spectacular views – The Great Lakes for example.

If you can’t get near water, choose a hotel with a great pool.

The point is, depending on your personal style, there is a “beach” for everyone!

Too often we are so busy looking for something better that we miss the obvious beauty right under our noses.

Choose that spot within driving distance from you and go for it! Remember, cheap honeymoons are where you find them. They don’t have to cost thousands of dollars to be intimate and romantic.

By the way, while you are honeymooning – tell the world! You will be surprised at how many little perks and extras come your way once people know you are newlyweds! Use it!

Three Essential Words for a Growing Marriage: Do You Choose

Posted by admin in Uncategorized

On your wedding day there are many kind and loving words spoken. Promises are declared. Vows are made. Congratulatory well wishes flow. This is how it should be. It is a day to celebrate love. There are, however, three words among all that are said, essential for a growing, deepening, and intimacy filled marriage.

Your first thought might be these words are, “I love you.” Certainly those are important words not to be taken for granted or spoken flippantly. But love can be a fickle thing. Sometimes we feel loving, sometimes we do not. Sadly, many who “fall” in love, “fall out” of love as well.

The three essential words I have in mind, implicit in the wedding vows you exchange, are in the form of a question: “Do . . . you . . . choose?” It is a moment of truth question that will be repeated more often than you might think.

I wish I could say the vows you make on your wedding day will be sufficient to last a lifetime. They are not. Promises are not easy to sustain. A growing marriage requires we answer the question, “Do you choose?” on a daily basis. Today, “Do you choose?” may mean negotiating your needs with respect, not seeking to have your needs met at someone else’s expense. Tomorrow, “Do you choose?” may mean risking confronting, apologizing, or forgiving. And the day after that, “Do you choose?” may mean putting your partner above all other distractions and temptations the world has to offer. You will answer this essential question over and over and over again by your actions, for by such choosing the very foundation of your marriage will be strengthened.

I have met many people committed to the “institution” of marriage. They choose to be married. They don’t want to be single, or be a divorced parent, or partition their wealth, or do their own laundry, or be alone on Saturday night. They may even be afraid not to be married. In that sense, they are committed to marriage. But notice these are all self-serving reasons. One or both partners remain in their marriage primarily for what it provides them. Somewhere along the line, one or both partners wavered in their commitment, choosing themselves more than the other. Eventually, life gets sapped out of such marriages and they wither, need deprived and bitter with resentment. “Love is not selfish, it does not seek it’s own way,” the Apostle Paul reminded us. There is an enormous difference between being committed to being married for what marriage provides you, and being sacrificially committed to the wellbeing of your spouse. For marriage to thrive, this commitment to the other must be mutual. No one can choose for the other or for both. That is why your wedding vows are repeated – each to the other.

Choosing your spouse daily is about mutual sacrifice. Intimacy is about mutual need satisfaction. Answering, “Do you choose?” means making sure your partner feels heard, even before you speak. It means assuring they are safe and valued and affirmed and loved and most essentially, chosen.

If You Are without a Girlfriend Then a Magnificent Call Girl May Help

Posted by admin in Uncategorized

Being without a partner in the universe where you happen upon couples in each and every pub and club can be a lonely feeling. I personally know of two not married friends who go on dates each and every day and each day they are depressed because they are still without a girlfriend. In the capital city of the UK there are a hefty collection of phenomenal call girls, these tremendous escorts are the perfect present to present to yourself if you are single.

Escorts in the wonderful city of London are tremendous and pretty and have a high education making them good companions as well as excellent lovers. The escorts in London are ordinarily more high priced than anyplace else like Leeds, the reason for this is the working girls tend to be of a higher class.

Working girls have been made popular with the television show Secret Diary with the elegant Billie Piper. In the tv show the call girl is made out to be glamorous and very rich and always looking amazing. Secret Diary is a top rated show in the United Kingdom and many males have seen it and have now booked a call girl. This has helped to fuel the rise in single lads feeling much happier and better about the choice a single male has in London. Use Escort Agencies to have the best night in ever.

Nicholas Ziemann Who Resides in Moscow Russia Gives Recommendations for Ski Holidays Europe

Posted by admin in Uncategorized

I have visited numerous French alpine skiing resorts for example Les Gets, Flaine, Tignes and La Chavanette, however altogether during all the group’s ski holidays Chamonix without doubt is my number 1 mountain to go for ski holidays.

The birthplace of European alpine history and home to the amazing Monte Bianco – at 4807m European Unions’ greatest summit – Chamonix Mont Blanc touts a superior historical snow track record, a protracted season (Nov-May), matchless off piste telemarking, and vistas to die for. Moreover Chamonix has an global repute because it has just about the most outstanding, difficult, and stimulating telemarking available anyplace in the universe.

Chamonix village is enormous and also disconcerting, and this is before one look at the adjacent resorts; including Tignes-les-Brevieres, Gourette, Portes du Soleil, Les Trois Vallees and La Rosiere.

The Mont Blanc Unlimited skiing pass includes 8 Chamonix town, and 16 departmental snowboarding towns; on pistes as high as 3845m, upwards of 260 cable cars, and 790 kilometers of ski runs – and the majority of the snowboarding areas preceding 2020m. They provides for every plane from novices as well as expert skiers. Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Doctor-Assisted Suicide

Posted by admin in Uncategorized

The Supreme Court ruled in January against the U.S. federal government’s attempt to end Oregon’s one-of-a-kind physician-assisted suicide law, a decision that has people of faith either celebrating or in an uproar.

Additionally, while the Supreme Court ruling hinged on a technical point regarding the distribution of medical drugs, some people of faith are concerned that states will enact similar laws around the country.

The Supreme Court addressed the Oregon Death with Dignity Act, which was enacted in 1997 and is quite specific. The act covers only extremely sick people those terminally ill, whom at least two doctors agree have a maximum of six months to live who are of sound mind. It allows terminally ill patients to receive a lethal prescription from their doctors that they administer themselves.

In a 6-3 majority, the Supreme Court overruled Gonzales v. Oregon. Justice Anthony M. Kennedy wrote that the U.S. government’s attempt to thwart physician-assisted suicide with the Controlled Substances Act which bars doctors from issuing prescriptions not for “legitimate medical purpose” was “broad and unusual authority.” Writing for the majority, Kennedy wrote, “the statute manifests no intent to regulate the practice of medicine generally.”

In the dissenting opinion, Justice Antonin Scalia wrote on behalf of himself and Justices John Roberts and Clarence Thomas. He wrote, “If the term ‘legitimate medical purpose’ has any meaning, it surely excludes the prescription of drugs to produce death.” He cited Webster’s Dictionary when describing the function of medicine as the “science and art dealing with the prevention, cure, or alleviation of disease.”

The case began in 2004, when then-Attorney General John Ashcroft issued a directive that Oregon doctors who assist their patients in suicide under Oregon’s Death With Dignity Act violate the federal Controlled Substances Act. This was issued on the same day his resignation was announced.

This opinion, though narrowly focused, has some people of faith worried that it has greater implications.

“Physician assisted suicide is corruption of the medical profession,” said Edward Ferton, a staff ethicist at the National Catholic Bioethics Council. “The aim of medicine is to cure or heal, not kill.”

Ferton called physician-assisted suicide, “immoral” and that it is the “destruction of the gift of life a gift from God.”

However, proponents of Oregon’s Death with Dignity Act say it honors human dignity instead of compromising it.

“This ruling says, ‘you have the right to make your own choice with dignity and humanity,” said George Eighmey, executive director of Compassion & Choices of Oregon. “I can exit [life] on my terms and no one else’s” and I don’t have to abide by someone else’s beliefs.

Those of Jewish faith believe this is a personal issue, which means members of the faith can choose their own stance on physician-assisted suicide.

“Judaism doesn’t have any one stance on anything. The one constant is that one is always supposed to seek the truth in the wisdom of the present moment,” said Rabbi Ariel Stone of Shir Tikvah Synagogue in Oregon. “We should have reverence for life and humility in the face of life. I believe what that leads to is the understanding that we cannot prolong life, that in itself is an act of arrogance.”

“It has never made sense to me that faith would stop at dying,” added Stone. “God brought us into this world, why shouldn’t God have help to take us out. It just doesn’t make sense otherwise. I want the same loving hands to help me out that helped me in, and I see God in both of those acts.”

The issue remains highly disputed in the medical profession.

“This law restores a sense of control to patients,” said Dr. Nancy Crumpacker, a retired oncologist from Oregon. “This is all about patients. It’s not about the medical powers that be.”

Yet, Dr. Kenneth Stevens of the foundation Physicians for Compassionate Care, which has opposed the law, told the Associated Press that he worries the terminally ill may feel pressure to end their lives. He noted the American Medical Association also is against the Death with Dignity Act.

A total of 208 people mostly cancer patients have taken the lethal prescription from 1998 through 2004, according to The Associated Press.

Eighmey said he has been privileged to be with several people when they have taken the prescription and that many of these times have been celebratory, sometimes incorporating religious ceremonies.

“This is a family event,” said Eighmey. “They want to have the right to say goodbye. There is love and caring, humanity and dignity.”

Eschatology – Rapture Ready and the Second Coming

Posted by admin in Uncategorized

What Is Eschatology?

Eschatology is from two words, “eschatos” meaning last or final and “logos,” meaning word or study. It is the study of last or final things. In the following, eschatology is used as the broad term to define the second coming and its related events.

The Soon But “Never Occurring” Second Coming of Christ?

The Rapture is one of the events which is supposedly in our imminent future. What if it is not? What if there is no such thing, –for us? This is not to alarm you, but asking you to read far enough down this page to possibly learn something you may not have known beforehand.

Are you curious why there have been so many incorrect dates set for the second coming of Christ? Most who prophesy of this event almost always indicate that it is soon to happen. The book known as the Bible says that it is, that the end of all things is at hand. (1 Peter 4:7; James 5:7,8).

On the other hand, the same book says it is not. Is that partly why there is so much confusion on this topic? How can an event be about to happen soon, but not happen for 2000 years? That is a conclusion many have reached by reading popular eschatology novels clouded in story form.

It is not a contradiction if we understand the historical time frame in which the words were uttered and their intended fulfillment. What’s the problem? It is simply that many forget that when reading about the event in the Bible, they lose sight of the fact that it was written to a contemporary audience who lived generations in our past.

Many mistakenly take what was soon to them and make it soon to us. Or they suppose that what they believe was soon to them aborted and did not happen and conclude the early writers were. What’s the result? “Rapturemania,” doomsayers, and egg on the face of otherwise intelligent men.

Would you be willing to hear a different approach that might be more sensible? Warning! Reading for yourself could be hazardous to your preachers’ opinions or current viewpoint. Are you willing to take the risk?

Could New Testament Writers Have Meant Exactly What They Said?

While it is not uncommon for people to consider the writers of the New Testament as liars or mistaken (even attributing fabrications to Jesus himself), there are some of us who believe that they were dead on target. They said the second coming was soon in their day. It was. It did happen just as and when they said it would, –within their very own generation and lifetime. (Matthew 24:30, 34)

Date-Setters Are Pointing in the Wrong Direction

Date-setters are not missing the mark because they are date setters, they are date-setters because they are missing the mark. They are pointing in the wrong direction, the future versus the past.

Every statement in the New Testament which speaks of the end-time, last days or second coming of Christ speaks of an imminent future in the lifetime of first century believers.

We err in overlooking this simple fact and apply language meant for them to us. The net result, end-time embarrassment.

William Bell, speaker, author, writer, has lectured frequently on eschatology. Your opinions are welcomed. To contact visit http://www.allthingsfulfilled.com

Evolution vs God

Posted by admin in Uncategorized

Many people subscribe to a major religion or a sect of one of the major religions there are so many to choose from there is something for everyone. For instance one recent think tanker stated that; “you can go to heaven, go to hell or come back as a cow. It is up to you!”

That is so funny. I have for kicks or curiosity for some reason, studied all the World Religions to see why everyone gets into it so much, it is rather interesting. Often religions will lose members who leave because no one will answer their questions. One recent former religious group and catechism attender states:

“I asked REALLY good, and perfectly innocent questions. Most of the time they got really frustrated with me when I’d ask questions like “why?” and a lot of times my questions were left unanswered.”

Indeed and this is a good point and it happens all the time. I find the whole thing rather wondrous that they cannot answer their own questions instead: “god works in mysterious ways?” or “The human mind just cannot understand it all?” I’m like “Oh really now? Why not explain it to me and let me be the judge of that?”

You see most people do not have anything against religion. Indeed many of them say things like this;

“I do not claim to be an Atheist, because I know I can’t rely completely on evolution as how humans came to exist: there have to be other unproven theories that make sense too, that we haven’t thought of yet – or we just choose not to believe there could be a God who somehow created us, like we were some science project or something. Could be that, who really knows, right?”

Well evolution makes sense and we have evidence of this of course, yet no one can say there was not a head start somewhere along the way. So, being a complete atheist, you have to claim to know, and since we don’t know, that makes it tough to be 100% sure of it, the evolutionary tract as the complete and final answer. And in that evolutionary concepts are rather diverse in themselves.

So, as far as evolution VS god, well define what god is, which god you are talking about of which religion. Evolutionary theory has much more proof than any religion, yet in itself although it does explain how humans came to be, there maybe much more to it, that we do not know. Think on this in 2006.
