Drip Trays and How to Change them
The Water Delivery Company is frequently asked the same inquiries and in answer to that Id like to use these to give some elementary guidelines to the more commonly asked questions. One of the basic things that seem to arise when someone gets water coolers for the first time is ‘How Do I Empty the Drip Tray?’.At some point the drip tray of the water coolers will overflow and unless its drained you’ll get water damage – spoiling the carpet or potentially damaging a laminate or wooden – so keeping on top of the water drip tray is essential. Another problem that can arise from not emptying the drip tray is the accumulation up of algae and bacteria – the drip tray looks unsightlyand unhealthy. To begin – take off any tray which may sit on top of your drip reservoir. Many water coolers have this offering a support tray for any cups being used.. These will always simply clip out so a little firm pressure will remove the grill. Once the grill has been removed you’ll be able to get a firmer grip on the drip tray itself. Again using firm pressure pull the drip reservoir towards you it unclips easily. Drain any water into a bucket or sink. Give the inside of the drip tray a wipe with a soft cloth and you may like to use a little gentle cleansing fluid or detergent at this stage just to totally disinfect the drip reservoir and optimise its hygiene level. Once the drip tray is drained you can simply clip it back into place using firm pressure. You’ll sense the click as it clips back into home. And finally replace the grill if the tray has one and you’re all done!
